Swati Sokappadu is presently Team Lead at CASS, specialising in providing expert compliance services within the financial services sector, particularly in the area of data protection.

She completed her LLB (Hons) at the University of Mauritius in 2017, following which she did the Bar Practice Course and Masters degree in law (LLM) at the University of Law in England in 2021. She is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2021. She was subsequently admitted to the Bar of the Republic of Mauritius in 2022. Additionally, Swati holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional/ Europe (CIPP/E) certification. She is also registered as a trainer with the Mauritius Qualifications Authority.
